Devyn was the first newborn that I photographed with Quita from QMC Photography in our recent casting call. Her mom brought her in to be photographed by us and she was such a sweet baby. We put out a casting call looking for a couple of babies because we are both starting to use studio lighting in our newborn sessions. I recently purchased a Paul C. Buff Einstein 640 and Quita has the same light, so we were able to practice using it at her studio. It was such a success that I will be using studio lights in all of my future newborn sessions! Devyn was super sleepy when she arrived and luckily, we managed to make it last for the entire session. I usually find that 7 days old is the perfect age for a newborn session as these babies sleep like a dream, and Devyn was no exception.
Doesn’t she look adorable in yellow? It’s definitely a good colour on her.
I’m guessing she is going to be Daddy’s little princess from the looks of this one! Love how pretty she looks in the jewelled headband.
Even without any accessories, she is a super cute baby!
Nothing beats seeing those tiny little baby toes just peeking out.
She loved this setup – she was so comfy and cozy in this position, probably because it felt just like being back in her mom’s tummy.
I couldn’t resist taking a close-up of her sweet face; she just looked so peaceful.
