Marc and Alysha got married last weekend in Edmonton and I felt very lucky to be able to photograph their big day! Marc is actually my boyfriend’s brother so it was an extra special event for me. The couple mainly wanted me to shoot the groom’s getting ready portraits as they had already booked the wonderful Jessica Fern Facette as their primary photographer, but I took shots throughout the day as well. The wedding was held in Edmonton at St. Joachim Church, a place which has special meaning for Marc since it is the church that his grandparents attend. After the ceremony, we headed over to the Fairmont Hotel Macdonald for the reception. They really couldn’t have found two more perfect locations for their wedding to take place. Dinner was delicious and to top it all off, they had the brilliant idea of having a poutine bar for the midnight snack! Are you getting married?
