This year at Thanksgiving, I was finally able to get some nice photos of my own family. Usually when you are a photographer, it is very difficult to get your own family to cooperate when it is photo time, but this time my dad even helped me scout out the best location and find a straw bale to use. Unfortunately my sister Cally was (and still is) in Australia, so she is missing from our family photo. I set up the family shots using a tripod and the timer function on my camera. Then I took some photos of my sister Shelby and her boyfriend Ty. I can’t believe they have been dating for 2 whole years already! I also took some of my sister Darci’s family and Darci was nice enough to take a few photos of me with my adorable niece. I love how they all turned out. You really can’t beat fall colours for a family photo session!
